Mike Arnopol MAS 112 vs. Bodai 28

He got it a while ago. He didn't like it and sent it back within a few hours. Fortunately he's one of only 6 people (out of nearly 400 cabs out there) that have tried and returned my cabs in the last 5 years. And two of them were definitely tire-kickers. One was to finance a "broken furnace" which apparently translated to buying an amp that came up on TB. (which I found out from a fellow TB'er) He threatened to sue if he didn't get his money immediately (so he could purchase his furnace/new amp). I was able to get his refund out. BTW---the cab was not late. He then had the balls to call 3 months later to see if I had a "demo" cab that I could sell him. I told him that I would not sell him another cab. He bought a used 18 on TB and provided a review on how his new Peavey 28 combo amp sounded better.
I know what my speakers can do and am completely confident on the MAS112. So are a half dozen owners out there. Playing one of my cabs for an hour in your living room is not the best way to see what my cabs can do. The MAS112 is likely my worst "living room" cab and likely my best "cover the gig" cab. Oh well.
BTW--I have 9 cabs sitting here going out today. I'm 2 days late from Monday ship promises. Turns out that I didn't realize that I was out of foam and had to order some from Uline. Just got here. So--Chris's and many other late cabs are going out today. I'll send out tracking info by noon.
Well---after a month of angst and frustration getting the new powered cabs with the hpf working correctly I'm on my way to being caught up completely within the next two weeks

So how different are these two cabs in a loud/medium live band mix? Are we splitting hairs here? Just different versions of good?

General, rather than specific answer (since I don't have either 12 but have had and still do have several of Mike's cabs).
Even the earliest MAS cabs (like the 46 and the Flex - that's as far back as I go) sound GREAT. Totally kick-butt, and better IMO than anything else I've played through, though Duke's cabs also get a nod
Mike continues to innovate and improve, so things get lighter and better (depending on your tone preferences). So yes, the new ones are an improvement. BUT - an older MAS or Bodai 12 (or 28) will kick serious booty in a med/loud band setting.
