Indeed, Tony! And how's about this one? Here's a wicked new fretless bass that we just received! It's got a lined Ebony fingerboard and an Alder body finished in Brandi Wine Red.

A P4 starts at $3200 List, and a T4 STARTS AT $4800 List. Dealers are allowed to go as low as 75% of List (which I always do), so that's $2400 and $3600 in these cases. That does not include a case or gig bag, but it would include free shipping.

They can do pretty much any color under the sun. Even if it's not one of their usual colors, all you have to do is submit a reference photo for them to match whatever finish you want. And they do all of that at no upcharge!

For cases, they offer two Protec options: a "Custom" gig bag (floppy w/ decent padding & Lull logo, typical of what most people think of as a gig bag) for $80 List, or the Contego hybrid case (a rigid gig bag) for $150 List. The also offer two Mono bags: the M80 for $290 List or the Vertigo for $315 List. I'm also a Mono dealer and can get you anything Mono you want (like the double bag, etc.). Finally, they offer a hardshell case for $300 List. The case is covered in white tolex outside and has a plush, molded interior.

A Detuner is available for $140 List.

The same 75% discount applied to all of those List prices when you go through a dealer. Like me!! :)

So you're looking at this:
P4: $3200 List
Alder/RW: $0
D-Tuner: $140
TOTAL LIST = $3340

We can sell that for $2505 plus 75% of whatever case you decide on. Or you can go with no case at all, they're happy to ship like that.

I don't know why, but Jeff's bass makes me want a fretless Lull in the worst way. Must be the almost Jaco-like look combined with the super-duper bridge pickup... and I have been thinking "P Pickup" for fretless lately.

I need another bass like I need a hole in the head... but I want, none the less. :)
