Looking for opinions please. I have been planning on having Devon Smullen build a custom bass for me. I have never been able to play one of his basses but they look and sound great, and he gets great reviews.
However, the other day I played a new Mike Lull PJ5 custom and was blown away by everything. The feel and playability were unparalleled.
However, I have never played a high end bass before.
Has anyone played both Mike Lull and Devon Smullen basses to give me a comparison?
Also, it is simply that all the higher end basses feel that amazing?
