im not gonna quote prices, but when i talked to him he said its going to be cheaper than the mpp1/2. obviously it doesnt have all the tone switches its big brother has.. but i can tell you it sounded great... i want one!

Please excuse my ignorance, but is a resistor is the same as a capacitor?

Short answer....

Resistor- resists the flow of current by about the same amount at all (theoretically) frequencies including DC.

Capacitor- with a DC source acts like a temporary chargeable battery. With an AC source it has a lower "resistance" (really impedance) at high frequencies than low frequencies.

Inductor - with AC source it has opposite impedance characteristics from a capacitor.

This is the new Mitre Box!!! I am really excited about this pre and will be getting one and carrying them at my site/shop.

This is the perfect solution for a lot of church gigs since going direct and using in-ears is kind of the trend at church these days. I also think that this box is going to be perfect for the studio!

For now there's a build time. About a month. But that's only temporary until I get things moving. I'm trying to get to where it's a week or two steady state. We'll see where it goes from there.
