700W Bass Half and Half
Looks like a Fender. Hand wired like a Fender. Tube pre-amp like a Fender. But that's about it. 700 watt Class D power amp. And 12 Lbs!
They need to use more appropriate knobs for the BF version.
And, yes it seems a bit pricey for what you get, comparatively.

I was wondering if the preamp was like a fender. The ole 2-10-2 kind of thing. Fender / Alembic kind of thing.
looks like it is - which is just fine with me.
Just watched a vid with the creator.
He is using some pretty “boutique” components in there, sourcing parts in the US, etc... $$$
Agree - it’s pricy, but pretty cool.
My Barefaced cab came in this week. The Milkman sound fantastic through this!! Been kinda waiting on this cab, playing through an old one or two JBL 15's. This thing slays with this 4ohm cab. Sounded really good through the JBL's, but really shines with the Six10.
Any idea what class D module is being used in this amp? I keep going back and forth between a head like this, just getting a Sumo or MAS power amp and pairing it with any number of tube pre's.

Got some info from the builder today. This is an ICE 700 module and it is bolted directly to the aluminum chassis as a heat sink, so it is 2.67 ohm capable for 1000w of power. This thing sounds AWESOME. The 2 demos I heard sounded great!

It's actually reasonably priced relative to the rest of his product line...almost feels like an anomaly. His other stuff seems crazy expensive for what it is. At $1300, its about the same as getting a Sumo or MAS power amp and pairing it with something from Sarno or Alembic for a similar sound. The Milkman form factor is nice, and as with all his stuff, looks really well designed.

I’d really like to hear some more demos. There are like two on line. They both sound really bright- but in both, all the knobs are at noon. If it’s a fender tonestack I’d like to here a 2-10-2 demo.

Noble has an “amp” version oh his pre. His pre with a 1000w class D power section.

One of these might look nice on top of the new cloth grill cabs from Bergantino.
The more I play mine, the more I love it. I had thoughts of trying others, Revees 200 and Aguilar 751 in particular, but those thoughts are fading. I can't find anything to not like about this little monster.
I was playing it quite loud at first, but am finding it sounds great at lower volumes as well.
I say just do it!
