Here's an interesting picture. I've been curious about the handwired preamp combined with the ICEpower module. Just how much is going in that preamp anyway? More than I supposed:

I have a Milkman. I'm head over heels with the tone I got out of it using passive Fender basses, but I've since been playing six-string active basses and it just... doesn't look right. There's nothing wrong with the tone whatsoever, but I feel like I should be using a Trickfish or Aguilar AG700. Something "hi-fi." Anybody want to talk me out of selling it? @markT?

I was thinking of getting a Trickfish Minnow preamp, but the Milkman doesn't have an effects loop.
But maybe you're right. I should just get another amp and keep it, cause sooner or later, we all go back to Fender
Who doesn't need two, maybe even three amps just for practical purposes? No effects loop!? Now that's my kind of amp!

That (V-Type) is exactly what I would recommend.
I have one as well as a V6 and they will go to the grave with me.
