Every once in a while, my bass will cut out or sound very distorted. I noticed usually the sound goes away when I wiggle the jack in the bass. Ive also concluded that it is not the guitar cable. Any tips or ideas on how to secure it? I tried bending in the conductors on the female jack. I'm starting to think I might have a preamp problem, or maybe a grounding problem.
