I've never seen 7250's in a 5 string set. I find that Taper wound strings work better for me on my FMT V, They allow for lower action on the "E" and "B" strings. I'm not a fan of a non tapered "B" string but I would try 7250's in a 5 string set if they do make them and I came across them.

I rather like D'Addario EXL170-5's. I have also enjoyed a set of Sadowsky's (45-130). Both of these have had the taper B, the D'Addario set had a replacement B of the same brand/gauge because the original non-tapered B of the set was DOA. There was no problem with the stockers, they just died.

+1 on the D'Addarios. I've tried a few different sets on mine (Elixirs, Ernie Ball) and she sounds best with the EXL170-5 set, IMHO.

Actually, I've been known to string up with a 5'er set of Chromes, too. Those work really well also (different vibe, of course)
