MIM Precison pickgaurd

I have an older MIM Precision Bass with a white pickguard. Thinking of replacing it with a mother of toilet seat pickguard in gray. Suggestions? Comments?

personally I like plain 3 ply white with black basses and probably the onyl time I like plain white pickguards. Otherwise you can add tortoise shell or anodized gold

I just ordered a fender B/W/B to replace my W/B/W on my black MIM P.

Love that look. I even saw someone selling a maple neck with a black headstock that I thought would complete the look.
