mini amp comparison..you inputs please!

  1. Hi,
I'm considering a new amplifier, and I've narrowed it down to about 3 potential candidates: Euphonic Audio iAMP micro 300, Genz Benz neopak 3.5, and the Mesa Boogie Walkabout.
I'm looking for a small lightweight amp in the range of 250 wrms into an 8 ohm load. I would like something that will cover a wide range of sounds. I also would like to have the ability to kill the speaker output and run headphones. I'd also like to be able to plug my iPod into the head to work on some new material.
I also would like to have parametric equalization if possible. None of the amps above have that capability. I think the closest thing would be the iAMP 500 from EA.
Your thoughts or suggestions? I am looking for a range of sound suitable for blues, some jazz, and some rock.
thanks in advance...I play fretless only!

The Boogie has semi-parametric eq, and it's some of the best eq ever, seriously. Headphone jacks are usually found on smaller practice amps, not so much on the big bruisers. Of the 3 you listed, I only know about the Walkabout, and I've got nothing but praise for it. Very versatile tonally, from warm and smooth to all out gnarly aggressive bite. Hope any of that helps, others with more expirience will chime in, I'm sure.
