Mini Brute and OP-1...

OP-1 is indispensable. Buy one if you have the money, 'nuff said. MiniBrute is cool, but not very tonally flexible. Super fun to work with though, anda great arpeggiator. A Mopho definitely sounds way richer and has deeper programmability. MiniBrute's main limitation is one oscillator, even though it's split into several blendable waveforms, SH101 style. It's still just a one oscillator mono synth. But for the money, nothing comes close that's new. Well, in fact, there is nothing else in that price range.

Thanks. Yeah, jeez. I had no idea that the MB was only $500!! I’m interested in seeing what the price of the DSI Morpho x4 will be. (The website says it is out, but I can’t find a listed price anywhere. I’m guessing… $1,200.) Looks like a real nice offering for in between the Morpho and the Prophet and PolyEvolver!!
