Mini rig

2 1x10 Eden wizzy cone cabs

G-K Fusion 800.

I have used it on full volume gigs and it handled it all.

with my fold up hand truck it is one load in (not including bass or bag).

Cool rig!

I'll have to get a decent pic of my 2x1x10 and mb2-500 rig. The cabs were modeled after a sweet little MojoSonic that I had. The top cab is an airhead built for the GK micro form factor. The cable hatch cover latches off and acts as a wedge to point the airhead /combo cab up a few inches. I get a lot of mileage from that little rig. TB'er SingleMalt did the construction of the boxes and nailed it. My mb Fusion 500 sounds nice through the cabs but the airhead chamber was not designed with venting the preamp tubes in mind.... That head mostly plays nice with a fearful 12.6.

Nice - just don't forget that the GK Fusion 800 is powerful enough to seriously damage those 110 cabs. ;) Anyway - congratulations, that's a very sweet looking bass rig.

Not to be contentious Joe but they handle 300 watts each (according to mfg specs) and that being cumulative that means peak should be around 1000 watts (?). I doubt I would use more than 400-500 watts continuous at any B&G venue I might play at. Not really worried. But I could be wrong.

Anyway thanks for the compliment.

Talk about your full volume gigs ...

This is a gig we do every year for a beer distributor, and all the ones before were patio type affairs so a small amount of gear is what was appropriate. This year we get there and find its on a full stage, vocal only PA it was like bringing a knife to a gunfight! Still the little Mojo 1x10s powered by a Mark Bass LM II handled the whole 3 hour gig with no complaint ...

Yup, if a PA is big enough to really support drums, its also large enough to support bass too... so we only need to be loud enough to keep up with the acoustic drums - not bury them.
