Mixer/Multi-Recorder! ASAP!

My band and I are looking to start recording our demo and the little recorder thing we have isnt cutting it anymore. I need info on what would be a good mixer in the 200-500 dollar range, we need no bigger than a 5-6 channel. Our recorder you can only record one at a time and it isnt working out. What would be a good multi recording mixer style thing we could get?????
