Mixing brands.

Has anyone mixed seymour duncan and dimarzio pups?
I got an spb3 in the neck and am thinking that a cream dimarzio model j pickup would be killer if i routed a spot in the j position.

On a P bass? So a QP-Split coil + Dimarzio J?

Well, yeah... Why not? Would become VERY grindy, though.
