well his name was Dimitry (which I know is Russian because it was the Premier's name from Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove), and he found Boston to be ubearingly WARM. He'd be one of those people outside on New Year's Eve last year at 2 degrees Fahrenheit. The accent too, he had it-- you can't keep that up if it isn't genuine. As for the music education, I believe it was compulsory. He also Believed he was Russian. He saw a connection between his Russian City and Boston in terms of science/academics and art appreciation.Saint-Petersburg Russia
You might be thinking some other Saint-Pete. I checked Craigslist once, "global" directoty, then found my city, and found some ads that indeed were local (and really strange, few people know CL here) and some ads that were definitely "other" SP.
