Kibble, milkbones, and P Basses. And redheads.
Why do players slide head first? It's not faster, you can't get up quickly, and I'm tired of seeing players injured by it.

The #51 retirement ceremony for Randy Johnson was fun to watch. My oh my did they get some Mariner legends to show up for that.
That 95 season is still part of my life history, all those memories in the Kingdome.

We used to stop in at F.X. McRory's or Sneakers before home games to see who had tickets for sale or which radio station was giving tickets away. We didn't catch every game that season, but down the stretch we didn't miss many.

Cubs won 10 in a row, lost 3 in a row (including the last two to the Dodgers), and have since won another 5. Not bad!

The AL West is a dump. There don't seem to be any good teams in the AL West. The Mariners should stomp all over mediocre to poor teams and hold their own with good teams. They held their own with Atlanta. That's a start. But the encouragement has to continue. They cannot possibly lose today. Or win, but who is counting?

Where are the A's from these days? I don't even know. I think they are using a community college ballpark in Fresno or something these days. Short fences, most likely, but just a guess.

The A's are playing in Sacramento, in the AAA ballpark, ironically, occupied by the Giant's PCL affiliate.
Likely 3 more seasons there before the move to Las Vegas.
Soooooo many bad choices by so many parties in this journey....
