MM pickup wiring help needed!

I'm working on putting together a bass with a single MM style humbucker. I put a three way switch in for series/split/parallel wired using this diagram:

Then I wired that to my volume/tone/output jack using this diagram:

It is passive so I attached another black wire from the terminal on the switch were it says "connect to gray wire from preamp" to the volume pot were the pickup would connect as in the second diagram.

I have no output! Did I do something wrong? These are all new parts so I doubt there is a bad pot and all my soldering seems to be alright. Any ideas?

Double check for shorts, or open connections.

Perhaps your solder joints have gone cold?

I checked but didn't see any shorts or open wires. Just wanted to make sure there isn't an issue with the way I combined these two diagrams. I hate to start from scratch again but I may not have any choice.

Wife has the camera at an overnight Girl Scout event with our daughter. I will take one in the morning when she gets home and post it.

Apparently being tired and unfocused is not a good idea when wiring pickups. After re-checking my wiring against the diagrams for a third time I found the problem! I forgot the wire to ground off the switch terminal with the green and bare wires! Oops! Anyway it is working now. Just a few more things to do and this bass will be finished!
