MM pickup wiring help needed!

I'm working on putting together a bass with a single MM style humbucker. I put a three way switch in for series/split/parallel wired using this diagram:

Then I wired that to my volume/tone/output jack using this diagram:

It is passive so I attached another black wire from the terminal on the switch were it says "connect to gray wire from preamp" to the volume pot were the pickup would connect as in the second diagram.

I have no output! Did I do something wrong? These are all new parts so I doubt there is a bad pot and all my soldering seems to be alright. Any ideas?

Apparently being tired and unfocused is not a good idea when wiring pickups. After re-checking my wiring against the diagrams for a third time I found the problem! I forgot the wire to ground off the switch terminal with the green and bare wires! Oops! Anyway it is working now. Just a few more things to do and this bass will be finished!:hyper:
