Hello again,
I have some more questions regarding modding these old Morley PWB pedals.
Specifically, I want to swap out the boost and wah toggle switches for TPDT ones to enable true bypass. I also want to add two red LEDs, one for each switch, to be used as wah/boost status indicators. Lastly, I want to switch out the old 2-prong non-polarized power cord for a properly-grounded 3-prong polarized cord.
These old Morleys run off 120v straight from the wall (no wimpy 9v batteries in these bad boys), so you can see why I need some advice on parts and modding.
TRUE-BYPASS & LEDs:
Would I need any special TPDT switches or LEDs/resistors since this pedal uses 120v? Use 120v LEDs? How would I go about wiring the new switches & LEDs in?
POWER CORD:
I know how to replace the power cord; my question is, where would I connect the ground wire from the new power cord inside of the pedal? Solder it to the side/bottom of the chassis?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
