Modding My P-Bass

Well, that's just one more way people enjoy the bass guitar. It's like accessorizing your automobile, it may not make it "better" but it makes it "yours."

Go for it... have fun. There's dozens of drop-in, bolt-on parts out there. Just keep in mind that if you go to sell the instrument, the mods probably do NOT increase the value of the instrument. If you can, keep all the original components for that day.
 
Absolutely you should! Why be content with the same bass a million other people have when you can make it YOURS! I'm a fan of the threaded barrel bridges because they allow for proper string-to-pole positioning,and still let you put a bridge cover on. Most high mass bridges won't allow usage of a cover. Swapping the pickups usually results in a "new bass" which is always fun!

Great, i was thinking i might as well go the whole hog, so i might as well change the bridge too :p and thats exactly what i was thinking. I was thinking Seymour Duncan SPB1 pickups :)
