Nobody has ever made that mod before.
What kind of person makes a simple minded reply like that? I hope this recession puts Buzzard Bass out of business! I asked a legitimate question about replacing a bridge which has been done over and over again and just wanted to know if it is worth it.
I modded my Essex Ash P-bass with an All-parts string-thru bridge. It was a PITA, but the sustain and low end response was worth it.
