Modding SX, need pups ideas

So heres the deal. I recently got my SX 5 string fretless jazz bass. It came out of the box with a dead b string and was in need of a setup but after some 45-125 DR highbeams and some tweaking the bass is playing great.
The stock pickups surely are not bad but this bass deserves better so Im planning on getting it some new ones for christmas.
Ill explain what Im working with and what I want out of it.
1990 Peavey TBRaxx Tube Pre
QSC RMX2450 amp
Ampeg 8x10

The bass will be used mainly in a hardrock/metal band and will always have rounds on it. Im looking for that aggressive fretless tone that has plenty of mwah and growl. Also I will be running these pups passive.

Due to the strings currently hitting the posts Ive been considering Bartolinis for their flat top. Theres also the SC or HC debate... Im open to all suggestions though, especially if somebody can help me mend the string hitting the pot issue.
Im not sure which Barts I want though because the model numbers are so confusing and their website looks like it hasnt been redone since 96'. Fralins and Nords are also some names that Ive been checking into.
Id appreciate any help..... thanks guys.

Nice bass..I have one {in my sig}. With Audere Jz3 and Barts...it is the most amazing sounding machine around. I put it up against a Gary Willis GWB1 and it won hands down sounds wise. Definetly go with Bartolini's...you will be happy...trust me!
