Modeling Faital 15HF500 with WIN ISD

3 1/2 year update...the cab is still going strong. I always use it for reggae and any outdoor gigs with my Genz Benz Streamliner 900. It sounds great. I did buy a barefaced Super Compact because...well....GAS! The Super Compact does not go as deep or loud so I prefer my cab for reggae, but for rock in small to medium size pubs I always take the Super Compact because at 20lbs it is a much easier schlep. It is also a lot more articulate which works better for rock in a small place.

I highly recommend the Super Compact as it is very accurate and just sounds really good in a band setting. If I wasn't so attached to my own cab, I'd probably just get another Super Compact and use 2 for outside gigs and reggae (with the bass cranked up).

Still using the cab. I joined a heavy loud blues rock band and it fits right in. I'm powering it with a GK Legacy 800 bass head now. I use the distortion channel, none of the signal sculpting switches are engaged and crank the high mid control and get a grindy LOUD rock tone. It shakes the whole room and really fits perfectly with the band mix. Still very happy with this cab.

Still going strong. I use it in a large practice space with a GKRB700II...this is a really great match for the cab. The GK high end is really present and balances the cab well. This band has a very loud drummer and the cab stands up to that no problem. I brought it to a Blues jam in a medium sized pub with this band and it was on about 3 of 10 and could easily overpower the band and the room if i wasn't careful...with restraint it was just super solid and authoritative. I got to listen to other bass players through it and it was perfect. You could hear and feel the bass in your body. I actually down sized to the super compact for this jam because it is easier to carry and provides plenty of bass.
