Modern, Clinical Preamp/DI Box?

I have the Tone Hammer preamp/DI and am interested in a pre/DI pedal to cover the "crisp and clinical" end of the spectrum, akin to the hi-fi tones of the GK MB series. Thanks for any recommendations.

Sounds like he wants something that provides a sharp, crisp 'gank' type of overdrive, which is what the B7K does.

Of course I could also be reading it completely wrong.

Crisp and hard-edged is what I'm after. The Aggie nails warm and thumpy but isn't as "in your face" as some others surely are. Thanks for the leads so far.

Yeah, the YouTube B7K demos are GAS inducing for sure. If I squirrel away some cash each month, I can drag my feet until the GK drops and see what that one's about. But it would take a lot to top the Darkglass. Thanks for the tip.

Hello. I don't know from the GK MB series. But if you want high fidelity, try a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed].

3Leaf Enabler, if you see a used one. Pretty much transparent. Some nice EQ if you want it.

B7k with the drive off and level boosted can get very clean and spanky. Especially when you drive it with a boosted compressor.

I think the Grace ALiX (or FELiX for 2 channels) is a likely heavyweight champion for this application.

The Rupert Neve RPNDI offers a rather accurate audio image, adds a touch of that nice console type of butter as well... Plus I find it punches.
