Modern Precision body w/ Tele heastock: Post pic's...

Are there any good pictures of modern Precision bodies with the old style Tele headstocks? If so, please post, thanks, dy.

i know sting plays the old tele style P, but doesnt he play a modern P config. with the tele headstock? i really like that combo.

I know I've seen Billy Talbot with one, he's got a 66 body and 68 tele neck...that's what I'm going for...I also have a 1/4 pounder for a pickup to put in it...we'll see...dy.

All P-basses v 2.0 (~1954-57) had contoured bodies and so-called tele head-stocks. Are you refering to the pickup as well?

i think the OP is referring to the modern P pickup config. with tele style headstocks.

I have a '71 Precision with a '71 Tele neck, unfortunately I don't have any pics of it to put up; it's in storage right now but I'll see about unearthing it for photos. Oddly enough mine looks a lot like Bogart's in the picture. Mine was black with a white pick guard but I stripped it down to bare wood a number of years ago. The bass has a lot of mid range bark to it, very punchy.

I have a 2004 MIA P body mated to a 1984 Squier Bullet bass neck. A nice combo. I'll post pics when I get home.

Stflbn...yep, I recall seeing her awhile back, super cool axe, and Rob J --- In storage!! Wow man, let her rip..., I'd like to see that one along with Toshiro's Squier, which is what I may also do, I've a Squier TB neck, and Dirnt RW neck, both w/Tele HS. I have a few options and I'll keep you posted, dy.
