Modifying Warwick Infinity

Hi, im thinking of modifying/upgrading my Warwick Infinity. At resent, the configuration is standard to a Infinity NT, however i'm thinking of upgrading the preamp, possible with an Audere unit as i like the sound of the 'Z' function however i do not know what other great preamps are available.

Im also considering options regarding the pickups, mainly coil tapping the twin jazz pickup however, would people suggest changing the pickups at all, if so what to and what benefits will they give

Thanks for any replies
Sean

I agree in the sense id hate to ruin the finish or aesthetics of the bass, so im only thinking of modifications that will only mount to a few new holes for switches and pots, though i was also considering an extra jack socket for stereo output like in rickenbackers

dont do this, its easier to use an estereo jack and gestionate the pickup out with something external like the morley AB
