If anyone has any background with these specific pickups, any and all advice is appreciated.
I'm going between 2 different pickups for my jag bass. I already have a badass II on the bass. would it be better for me to use the samarium cobalt noiseless pickups or some sort of seymour duncan. ive also considered installing an aguilar obp-1 preamp if it would fit.
i like the punchy sound the scn pickups get in the american deluxe jazz and my only real experience with seymour duncan pickups has been with the aguilar preamp so i think with alot of wiring that may sound good.
any ideas?
also, it seems as though the measurements correlate with one another, but does anyone know if an american jazz bass neck would fit on a jaguar bass?
