Modulation pedals

Hey. What chorus and reverb pedals and delay pedals are y'all loving?
I picked up a Electroharmonix Bass Clone Chorus and absolutely love it. Also grabbed the EQD Afterneath pedal. Rich tones. Spend as all hell but worth it. Im in a psychedelic Goth band and these , with a bit of delay gives me the perfect spooky sound I'm looking for. Though I'm In the market for a new delay. What one should I get?

In terms of Reverb, I went all-in once and got myself a Strymon Big Sky. That more or less covers the topic entirely.

My needs for modulation and Delay are satisfied by a weird pedaly thing called Zoia.
I think especially for psych Goth, the offerings of Old Blood Noise Endeavors are worth looking at. Especially the Procession and Black Fountain.

I'm probably not helping, but I LOVE the Meris LVX. But in a pinch I'd settle for a Boss Space Echo (or digital simulation of it, either from Helix or Boss themselves in their multi effects).

My favorite Modulation pedal of all time is the Source Audio Luna. Astonishing value and capability out of a really small box. I use 6 of my own patches, which are all available on the Neuro Community. There's not many multi-mods that can do choppers, trems, CE-1 & 2 Chorus, Univibes and Dimension C types of Chorus...plus some of the best phaser and flangers currently available. It's a digital device that sounds completely analogue, which is rare for digital modulators.
I use a sweet trem patch on my C4 sometimes too.
Reverb wise, love my Source Audio Collider and my Eventide H9's. Both have an excellent Hall verb, you can cover so much ground with a top drawer Hall patch. Sure there's a lot of other verbs in there too...but an excellent Hall verb is a great starting point. The mix knob (maxing creates pad smears) dials in a lot of the subtlety and the hall size and the decay controls are the other important knobs.

I'm getting my needs met with my Zoom MS60B, MS70cdr or B3 pedals plus a TC 3rd Dimension for extra mileage. The Zooms have a mix of classic and wild effects that cover my needs for bass, guitar & synth. My only other delay is a Sushi Box FX Echosaurus Multi-head delay that gives all the fun sounds of an analog tape or drum delay without the mess.

After months of annoying musician friends and shop owners, trying everything over and over and over again in option paralysis, I finally pulled the trigger on a Neunaber Wet and EHX Bass Clone yesterday.

Money wasn't a consideration at all. Regardless of the price point they are my favorite reverb and mod pedals, for now :) The Clone in particular... I tend to steer away from EHX, but this worked unexpectedly well for my needs, I ended up picking it over fan favorites like Julia and Waterfall.

+1 for the BOSS DD-200!

I usually always prefer analog stuff, but for delay I find it to get too dark.

For chorus though, I always like analog. I use the CE2-W.

And I like Strymon reverbs, but the less expensive stuff sounds great too.

For me:
Modulation=analog.
Time Based Effects=digital.

Lotsa great ones in both categories

For delay and mod I went with the Source Audio stuff (Nemesis and Mercury, respectively).

For reverb, I can't overstate how much I really like Neunaber. I've got a Seraphim, Immerse, and Illumine, as well as their Wet plugin, and I love all of them. Great for anything from fretless to 8-string.

Huge fan of the Afterneath ( I have a v3 ) This was my answer to a delay+reverb as I used to use the TC HOF+Flashback. Now I only have to press 1 switch vs 2.

Delay - TC Flashback (single switch) for the reason some people mentioned above, its a "bright"er delay. I've liked the Carbon Copy and EHX pedals but thought them too dark sounding once I started to add more modulation. The tap tempo feature is a MUST

For added modulation on bass I'm just using a MXR bass chorus delux, it won a war with 5 others so I have a collection. EH Pitchfork is first, usualy for 5th up, octave down but it does a fantastic thick detune chorus too.

I find that with all the other effects, fuzzes, harmonies I'm using, often modulation happens by itself.
I play a lot of ambient electronic stuff so delays that play themselves, looped and storred are essential.

On board for time effects 1. EH Attack Decay, this is often into any of 3 envelope effects (including Prunes & Custard and new cool Kangra...) 2. Malekko Charlie Foxtrot (for steady tempo keeping granular delay, but it can go crazy with pitch random shifting) 3 EH Superego (with Banana synth in send/return) infinate sustain via attack threshold 4. Red Panda Particle (I took 2 years to learn it, mostly do backwards delay loops) Last, 5. MXR RV-3 for very minimal delay&reverb but it can become a delay looper too, it was one of the first, still valid. Then any of 3 loop pedals, the Jamman single is a favorite. Stores quite a bit. The Wally Looper 2 is Great, both some storage but on the fly speed change-pitch change which makes it an instrument.

Empress. Their tape delay is still my favorite. Same with their phaser and the Nebulus, which is a chorus/flanger/vibe pedal. The Zoia seems like the best way to get all of these sounds, but if you are kinda new to pedals the interface might be confusing. Not sure. The Red Panda Raster 2 pitch shifting delay gets honorable mention for being able to cop a solid chorus and ring mod as well. The presets on that thing are handy. Also, it is pretty hard to beat the Boss DD-7 if you want a good but inexpensive delay you can get used and easily resell if you need more features.
