If I don't hear back from Thomastik soon I'm going to do just that. It is a bit painful though as an A and E string together will run me $43!

I ended up ordering an A and E from BSO. It says the strings will ship in1-3 days. I’m still expecting restitution from MF or TI.

2002 should have a rod. It was 99 they introduced the rod. So it is not a 2002 then

That is weird. I would stay away because that is the truss hole and there should be a truss in that neck

Well I doubt they removed it, so either the owner doesn't understand what he's talking about, or the adjustment rod was broken at some point.

The first owner said(ex-owner), he took it to sell to a Japanese instrument store, but they said it was none truss rod model.
First of all, the price is not bad(US 1100$), so I'm going to deal with him soon.
I'll get it and upload the pictures.
