Mono bridge or stereo?

Hi guys,

I tried looking this question up, but am still a little unsure. I noticed that my Ampeg 610hlf was connected to my Crest power amp in mono bridge with the button pushed in (correct for mono). I was wondering for home use, should I be running it in A side stereo mode (back button depressed) instead?

Also, can I mess up the 610 in mono. BTW, I did read the manual, but still am confused. Also, the Crest is using the bannana connection. Speak-on was not availible in the US according to the book.

Yes, you can run it mono off one side of the amp. Will put less stress on the cab.

it shouldn't matter - as long as you're not overpowering
the speakers with too much amp

-or overloading the amp with too low speaker impedance.

the owners manuals should have the info.
