Mononeon live in the Galaxy Barn at Pickathon

I was out at Pickathon this weekend working as a stage manager. Mononeon played 11pm Saturday in the Galaxy Barn, its capacity can't be over 200 people. My nephew and I were lucky enough to grab a couple of backstage spots to the left of the stage, we were about four feet from the drummer's back. It was such a killer set, Mononeon is a master of rhythm and harmony. His band was an amazing blend of precision and looseness that grooved so hard! My nephew took these pictures, it was a great experience I'll remember forever.

I was there too, standing just outside the garage door. Such a killer show - loved the twin Prince funk guitar attack as well.
Awesome! I had a blast all weekend. I saw GEL at the Galaxy Barn as well, I hadn't been in that close proximity to a mosh pit in a long time. Did any other sets stand out to you over the weekend? W.I.T.C.H. in the woods was pretty sweet too.

Oh yeah for sure - Wine Lips, Sgt. Papers (I was fully engaged in the mosh pit), Mikela Davis, Madison Cunningham. Of course I'd be remiss not to mention my band - Motrik :) We had a great time playing the Galaxy Barn Thursday and the Windmill on Sunday.
