I checked Fender, there is no official MonoNeon signature model (not sure he'd go for that), but that's definitely a match for the one he plays the most in his videos lately:

I checked Fender, there is no official MonoNeon signature model (not sure he'd go for that), but that's definitely a match for the one he plays the most in his videos lately:

His original yellow bass is a Bass Mods. Mono was one of the first players to use a BassMods along with his Laklands. I have often wondered why Mono doesn't have a Bass Mods Signature model. So many other players do. He has given them so much exposure .
I was shocked when he started endorsing Fender Product last year. No one thinks of Mono Neon and thinks 4 sting Fender Pbass or jazz bass. I immediately think of that yellow BassMods and his Laklands.

I don't know if this is a legit signature motodel coming soon or not. I honestly hope not. But I guess that's a possibility of what could happen when Lakland or BassMods fail to capitalize .

Think Flea and MusicMan to Modulus and Fender.

Mononeon doesn't reverse the strings. He just flips a right-hand bass over to left-hand orientation.

I just saw it listed on a french music shop for preorder, with an estimated availability date for mid-december !
So, I guess maybe it will be announced in a few weeks...

That neck reminds me the one on the Charvel JJ V.
