Mooer Prime P1

Great bit of kit. Not just a headphone amp as it has an output if you want to run it into an. There's also a 4-button (wireless) footswitch available so you can switch patches but also use the in-built Looper or tuner. Plus it works equally for bass or guitar. I just got mine and think it's easily the best product of its type on the market.
I’m really intrigued by this. It seems perfect for me. I currently have a Nux Mighty plug for headphone practice, an IK Multimedia iRig HD2 interface and alternative headphone practice device that I hardly use anymore, if I can be bothered to set up bias or amplitude, and a Valeton Dapper Bass as a backup to my helix. The little Mooer could potentially replace all three!
The problem I find with most of these practice devices is they rarely seem to have a pitch shift effect. I use one in my helix for several songs to simulate BEAD or other tunings, meaning I have to set up the helix just to practice those songs. They also tend to have all effects in a single, series signal path, which isn’t always ideal for driven tones.
This Mooer seems to solve both of these issues in a great sounding device that doesn’t break the bank. It really does seem like a micro helix! Sure, I’d love the boss waza headphones, but I really can’t justify the expense.
I think my nux, irig and valeton dapper might all appear,on eBay very soon. Combined, they should easily pay for a P1.

After a couple of hours of playing: The pitch shifting is almost unusable unless you stay within a few semitones of the original pitch. There is no octaver effect like in the GE Labs app. I can't seem to make the noise gate work. The Zoom MS-60B has either more DSP power or better algorithms as far as I can tell. Otherwise I managed to dial in most of my tones. The foot switch makes it super practical, especially for looping.

Found out about this thanks to this thread, and it is is so cool ! It ticks a lot of boxes.
Hoping that the basic effects (to me : amp and cab sim, OD) are at least usable for practice or a quick phone capture, but judging by the demos it seems to be the case !

I've just got one and I like it, with one caveat: the round button for switching the unit on and off, changing settings and altering the volume is very flimsy and keeps falling off. Anyone know of a way to make it more secure, or of something better that could replace it?
