Moog Moogerfooger MF 101 Lowpass Filter alternative?

Is the square-wave generator going to be included on the production model or was it a one-off?

Craig's pedal was fairly different from this design. The filter type is different, this one has a 4-pole mode, his was 2-pole only. There's no square waveshaper in this unit, since I figure everybody has their own preferences about what kind of fuzz to use before a filter.

Also, there's gonna be a TB discount, right? :D

Hmm, we'll see... :)

Haha - I mainly put the ninja there because I didn't really have any satisfying news to relay, and I don't want to be spammy.

Prototypes are out there, but the production units are not available yet because of a holdup with silk screening. Custom units are available. Website will be up very soon.

There are 2 different filter pedals. The simple one, called Xerograph, has just frequency and resonance knobs, a frequency expression jack, and a 2-pole/4-pole switch. It's designed for doing filter sweeps with your feet. This is the one that's almost ready to go.

The other one, which has a lot more features, does have a tap tempo LFO. It's a little farther off from being available.

So, from this, is the more complicated model also designed as a 'sweep with your feet' pedal, or would you say that the two models cover somewhat different ground?

The second one does all that the Xerograph does and much more. The complex one does expression sweeps and static dub filters just like the Xerograph, but also has tap tempo LFO, pitch-tracking LFO speed, and envelope following.

The Xerograph is designed to cover the bases that you might've previously used an MF101 for, whereas the complex one (still unnamed) is designed to do all the crazy dubstep and drum and bass sounds that were previously only available on computers with programmed animation sequences.
