I have the SY-1 and like it for some things, but the FI is my "go to" pedal for anything MOOG. Still, the Taurus might be hiding in the Boss, if I look closer.

Anyone with experience playing your bass through an actual synth? I'm thinking like a Novation Bass Station II.

The Source Audio C4 IS an actual Synth. 4 oscillators, dirt, LFO's, filters, harmoniser and a sequencer. It's even got some FM synth, tremolo and some modulation. Not bad for such a small unit, it's basically modelled on a modular synth.

Yes, as is the Future Impact. The pedals today are becoming so powerful, that they are entering the levels of performance only rack units would offer, in a not so distant past.

Rush Moog sounds - Lead 1, Variation 11 depth at noon, tone and rate also at noon gets me the tones for Xanadu and the Trees. Lead 2, Variation 6, depth 5 o'clock with tone and rate at noon gets Tom Sawyer and Red Barchetta bass pedals sounds.
