Moogerfooger CV

I intend to buy several Moog units in the near future for a noise/experimental project. These would be the Ring mod, LPF and Freqbox. However i would like to utalise the CV inputs, because that is half the fun and versatility of the Moog pedals, right? However at this moment in time i don't own or intend to own any midi equipment. I don't intend to buy the CP-251 unit either.

So my question is, is there any units out there either in production, special order or schematics for a 'digital clock' with a voltage output corresponding to the the clock timer? This would substitute midi equipment along with midi to cv changes i believe.

Here's the stats i would be looking for;
- Small footprint
- Inexpensive is always good but not necessary
- Tap tempo/potentiometer to control the tempo obviously
- Corresponding LED blink time to the tempo
- 3 outputs for each Moog?
- +5V,-5V range

I did search but found nothing and i hope im not in my own little world thinking this will work without the CP-251 or midi and midi to cv units. I'm not really up to speed with midi etc and how it interacts with CV inputs to other units. I'm not sure if its the cycle of one waveform controling another through the CP-251 to hard sync them, so i don't know if what i'm asking for in unreasonable. I apologize if what i've said is completely bonkers :D
Thanks guys

u mean like this?

I´m not sure if I completely understand what you mean, but do you want a step sequencer? there are some all anlogue sequencers that put out CV. go to Invalid Link Removed, they have a lot of stuff.
of course you´d want a multiple then if the sequencer has only 1 output... it´s not so hard to DIY. or you go the modular route and get a doepfer case with a few modules, they make a sequencer module also and they have a smaller case out now.. doepfer is the cheapest I think and they work good - if you don´t have a fetish for hi end lol. but to go modular is a more serious investment in the end than getting another fuzz.

but you mentioned digital clock that puts out CV.. there´s a conversion happening. so I guess you want a box that does this internal so to not have more cables and boxes, power supplies than necessary. right?

and you can always go to some synth forum (like the moog one) were the hardcore modular freaks hang out, they usually know everything..

The Moog MP-201 MultiPedal would be exactly what you want. It is a little bulky, though. But it can do MIDI-to-CV, it can even be used as a MIDI controller, and it has 4 CV outs that can be set to send tempo-synced voltages in a +/- 5v range.

sorry guys, i'll try to explain a little differently.

When a midi drum machine is linked to a midi to cv unit, that is then linked to the moogs cv input, it hard syncs the sweep or cycle of a waveform to the drum pattern, right? What im asking is, is there anyway to achieve this same affect, the sync'd cycle to a tempo, but without the midi equipment? Is there anyway to achieve the same or simular CV affect recieved via the midi equipment, but without the midi equipment?

Thanks guys

Well what will provide the clock? The MP-201 can sync your CV signals to a tempo that you can tap in.
