Moosehead Crate bass

Here's my latest attempt at a "crate bass." I needed a project at the woodshop where we spend the winter months. It started as an eBay $20 dollar crate. Bill Lawrence P-46 pickups.

And there's a sentence you don't see every day!

That should probably be the last line of a verse in a Country song involving a drunken moose in a bar. Then you jump into the chorus, where the moose cuts loose on the dance floor. The rest of the song would write itself.
 
I wouldn't clutter it up with a bunch of little themed details. I like it clean and simple like it is. I think it looks great overall. The statement of the design is right there, plain and clear. As subtle as, well, a moose at the bar. No need to overdo it.

I'm pondering the reaction I'd get showing up to play at church with that thing. We welcome all sorts of folks to our services - there's a guy who's a front row regular in his Harley Davidson leathers, but I'm not sure what reaction I'd get from a Moosehead bass on stage.
