With all the due respect, and assuming you are talking about the original studio recordings, I don't remember hearing a cowbell on those songs. Actually, and being AC/DC the straightforward, no-frills rock band they've always been, I have a hard time trying to recall an AC/DC song with a cowbell.

Reminded me of VH's "Hang'Em High", which has a cool cowbell break about 2/3 of the song.

Those came from these lists of cowbell songs that somebody else did. They are listed on several websites for cowbell songs.

Three Badass Rock Songs That Really Do Use Cowbell | ZUG

I thought the same thing as you but from what I have read, the cowbell is in those songs but not prominent. I just listened to Thunderstruck, and it is through the entire song.

My favorite example of cowbell use comes from an album that Carlos Santana and Buddy Miles recorded live in Hawaii in the early 70s. They laid down a smokin' version of Miles' classic "Them Changes" at that show! Somebody in the percussion section is playing two cowbells, and it just makes the song happen! Well, that and Miles' vocal. He was a master, I miss him.

One funny thing about it, though... Carlos does a kinda mediocre solo. What happened, Carlos? Too much pacalolo?
