hey bepster, i haven't heard of them, but maybe someone else up here has?

yeah ive asked around no one seems to have heard of it(or actually answered if they did) yeah then im guessing my thoughts are right it most probably was originally a normal electric guitar and then changed into a bass...i mean the only morgan legend series instrument i had happen to find was a stratocaster guitar hehe...
anyways if posting a picture will help ill gladly post one

I am really curious to also find out where these come from.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a Morgan Legend (jazz bass) for $30. It must have been in the attic for a couple of years but I just wanted a cheep instrument to experiment with pickups on. It was dirty and strings very high. But after I cleaned it, put news stings on it, adjusted neck and bridge, and worked on three frets that were way too high, it is actually quite an amazing bass. The neck is really nice and so is the sound although the output is rather quiet. (I have a Fender jb 77 and a Warmoth with Antiguity II pickups to compare with, and I have just decided to sell my Fender). So check 'em out if you see one at a reasonable price.
I would still like to know when and where this series was produced?
