I own a Mosrite Joe Maphis bass and I'm trying to determine if the electronics are original. I read somewhere that the original pickups on this bass had solid poles... but my pickups have Philips screw polepieces and the covers are stamped with the Mosrite logo, and they look like they are as old as the bass. Does anyone know for sure what the stock pickups looked like on the Joe Maphis bass?
