Yep, teal and pink. I’m so glad that I never owned anything I wanted as a teenager in the early 90’s. Otherwise, I’d probably still be stuck with a lowered Mazda mini truck with cheap KMC wheels and graphics that look like the opening credits to Saved by the Bell.

Pretty jealous that you have a Blaster, and I own an actual Kubicki! I'm kind of a sucker for repro/copy/tribute stuff. Anyway, mine's white, and I also had a coral one (I know they still make that color). Black, of course. And a bunch of custom graphics. So maybe custom graphics is the hot setup!

I just purchased an early 90’s Blaster Kubicki copy. I’m planning to refin the body as it is a bit too roadworn to my taste. What would be the most 90’s colour? Is there anything better than colour swift green-purple?

I seem to remember a great deal of plaid, grunge anyone? Can you paint it plaid and denim lol?

I researched the reversed-burst and found Ibanez did it first in the late '70s. But Kubicki Factors and Fender Jazz Plus and Precision Plus basses all incorporated it from the late '80s into the early '90s. It's recently been revisited by Fender.
