Most concerts in 24 hours...

My band, Moped, will try to set new world record with 65 concerts in 24 hours. Each concert must be at least 10 minutes, we can not play twice on the same stage.

The record attempt will be on November 22nd, starting at 07.00 in the morning Norwegian time. You can follow us on Twitter @mopedband and see if we make it. I will try to update after every concert!

Cheers
Tore

I do usually not play solos, but could not resist during consert #60. Black Night by Deep Purple have a long solo part, usually on giutar, but had to give it a go. I guess that was the best consert.

Low points came and went during the day, but none in the band had them at the same time:)

Was a fun day to look back on, but I do not think we will try again...

We had 3 rigs with their own crew who did the rigging for us. We, the band, had our own driver and only our guitars and drumstics to carry. We also had someone to remind us to eat and drink, an most important tell us where we go next... After consert number 40 it was all a fuzz. I remember the last 6 conserts, but most of them I do not remember...

Grumpius, that is correct!

There was a Norwegian band who had the last records at 65...
They where not on Guinnes book of records site, only a guy from India with 55 conserts. We had planned 65 but by a mistake we booked 66. Lucky for us :)

Cheers
