Most Popular Bass Guitars

Les Pauls are the most popular guitars? I hope not, I'm not really a fan of their short necks, they're a bit of a pain to play if you have big, stubby fingers like me.

I think the Ric would come third after the J and the P, just because of how long they've been making them also.

In the UK it'd probably be.

1) some sort of Jazz bass
2) Warwick
3) Musicman Stingray
4) Yamaha
5) Older luthier built bass

I would say either of the Fender basses would probably be the most well known and popular.

i think Fender Jazzes are the most popular, or any Fender "clone" type bass.

When I say "most popular basses" I exclude the copycat companies, like SX and the like. I mean most popular original basses.

So I guess my list is like this so far:
1. Fender Precision
2. Fender Jazz
3. MusicMan Stingray

There is an order.. It is scientific, mathematical and organized. I'm pretty sure the Nerds at NASA figured it out.

P-Bass - Most popular Bass ever made
J-Bass - My Fav Bass
Ricky 4001 - My 2nd fav
MM Sting Ray - I wish it wasn't active.
Everything else.

Gibson Les Paul does make a bass it's called the Les Paul Bass - not very good
