The Bluebeard, TAFM, Depth Charge, and the Grey Stache are all great Stoner fuzz pedals.
The HBE psilocybe is a killer phaser for stoner rock that works really well with dirt pedals.
Any dunwich stuff.
If you get into more psych style stoner rock the obscura delay is badass for trippy stuff.

What fuzz would you compare th wizard fuzz to? The video demos I looked up online are sub par and it's hard to get a good representation of the pedal. I don't wanna hijack this thread but I feel like any info will be applicable to this subject haha

The Wizard Fuzz is an original circuit... and it's definitely a high gain fuzz. The depth knob also gives the Wizard a wide range of low end depth. But, the Wizard has its own flavor going on. Most of my experience is with Muff derivatives (Green Russians, civil wars, ECT), so I can't really say what the Wizard Fuzz is like, except that it's not like a muff. Maybe someone else can chime in with their perspective on what the Wizard Fuzz is like.

the WF is nothing like a muff. the depth and eq controls are very flexible and you can get lots of different flavours of fuzz and gain. it doesn't sound like a pedal in a lot of settings. it reminds me more of the fuzz i get from really driving a tube amp.

Interesting. Thanks for the description. I've currently got a Bluebeard, a depth charge, and a mastotron on my board. Thinking a wizard fuzz would be different enough that I could justify buying it haha.

yeah it's the most original sounding fuzz i've tried. this is the only recording i have of it. WF was on the whole time, playing a P bass tuned down to C#

Sounds awesome man. This forum is bad for me. Whenever I feel satisfied with my board...Talkbass consumes me and I buy more pedals.

The OG Wizard Fuzz box is super cool... I just couldn't shoe horn one one to my board. I think Nick is going to make some small(ish) Wizards.

I can... definitely. But I usually play in power trios.

It depends. In my band, the bass plays a large role and I have a a lot of freedom. I definitely know what you're saying though, there are certain instances when it would be hard to identify different pedals in a loud, heavy part of a song. Depends though. I think more of us just don't want to agree with you and we like to think that listeners hear every nuance that we do when we switch between 6 dirt

Yep few people i can hear but two or more guitars with a lot of effects and a drummer playung cymbals not so much.
I'm happy bass low notes there and everyone else is higher notes because no one i play with detunes.

I can usually tell the difference in the texture and the mids. Poorly managed mids are grating as hell.

Depends... I can't tell the difference in all the different types of muffs and clones. But I can definitely tell if someone is using an HM2 or FZ2.
