Most under rated 210 IYO

BagEnd D210BXD

400 watts rms
40hz-20kHz

100 db Spl

70 lbs.

Super musical since it uses a coax driver for the highs. Can handle a ton of power and goes nice and low without farting out.

My all time favorite. The only downside for me is the weight, but It's built like a tank.

I've always felt that the Mesa/Boogie PH210 never got the love it deserved. Yeah, it's bigger than some of the competition, but it sounds bigger, too (and since it uses neobased drivers, it's not ridiculously heavy).

Another 2x10 that doesn't get a ton of attention, but is very high on my list, is the Glockenklang Duo.

The EA-NL210, Bergantino AE210/HS210/HD210 and TecAmp S210 are all quite good, but perhaps not enough of a "sleeper" brand for you. :smug:

If you have a lot of watts and don't mind the weight, the Wayne Jones 2x10 is darned impressive, too.

The Mesa and glock sound interesting. The others have been talked about or (hyped up) a lot here. I'd like to stay with the sleeper brands for research purposes. There's probably other people that could benefit from the information too.

Avatar 210 Neo.......

The pre-MIK Warwick WCA 211Pro has grown on me. Compared to the Avatar 210, it's a tad punchier (measured a mid response bump relative to the Avatar's response) and not neo, but otherwise a very nice modern 2x10. Sadly, out of production. A couple of these stacked on the narrow end sound sweet, and I've covered medium sized outdoor gigs w/o PA support with just one and some judicious eq.

I will vote for my Eden Nemisis RS 210.
Great little cab that can handle 300w and put out 102 db. I got mine used ( floor / demo model ) at a great price. Overall a great sounding cab.

I don't play 5 string so I can't say how it performs with a low B, but with a four banger it gets nice lows and doesn't get muddy when pushed with my Wt550.

Originally I bought it for so I didn't have to shuffle my bigger cabs back and fourth and it has replaced all of them. I would definitely buy another if needed.

Cheers!

You know, I've heard that Warwick cabs sound pretty good, but I've never had te occasion to audition one.

Hartke 2.5 XL. I believe it is the best cabinet they have made. Strange that it was discontinued. Very deep and loud enough to handle a medium sized gig alone. Probably not a big seller but it should have been. Not to be confused with the 210 xl, a very different animal.

the 210 TP was junk, but I liked the 210XL. I considered the 2.5XL, but but it was a little big and heavy for 210, right? That could have been the deal killer. PLus, it needed a real crossover, not jst a little tweetxover. More $, so that could explain why they nixed it.

Eitherway, its a very nice sounding and capable cab, so you deserve a +1 here.
