Unsure how frowned-upon it is here, but how about a fundraiser? Sponsors? Voting? Possibly do a donation to cancer research on behalf of Talkbass at the end?

I've done beard growing contests on behalf of the local food pantrys in the past, this might be cool too.

Laughs, that reminds me, I have a friend who looks very much like Ducks' Saku Koivu, and for some reason he has awesome black moustache genes - his two day stubble is like a velcro strip, but only around the upper lip!

I have just gained my first sponsor for Movember! A friend of mine promised to put at least 5 EUR into charity, in exchange of witnessing my awesome Moustache of Doom at the end of the month

Doing it in old-fashioned paper and pen form, though. Does someone need a sponsor list in paper format? I could translate it into English quickly and share it.

Alas, I am relegated to only participating in Novembeard. My mustache growing capabilities are pitiful at best. Despite repeated attempts, it just does not grow in thickly enough to look even half-way decent.

It really does impede my overall beard growing ability
