Movie Making programs

Hey, i have to make a movie, but my movie maker program broke, and i need a new one. I had Windows Movie Maker, and i really liked the way it was set up, worked alot like iMovie. Are there any movie making programs comprable to iMovie for Windows available for purchase? If so, please point me in the right direction.

if by movie making you mean video editing i would recommend the adobe video editing program. my friend has it and its pretty nice.

Yes, i mean video editing. Sorry, i mean like importing clips from a DV camera and editing and then exporting.
