Got a sound co gig for a fund raiser this weekend. A femal acoustic guitarist in a wine tasting room as background music. The room is large 200 to 2500 sq ft the volume needs to be low though as it is cocktail hour... I'm placing 1 PRX 612 on a stick, one on the floor for her. Assuming it works on arrival, a Mackie DL-806. She is on deck from about 5 to 6. After her the party migrates outside and there is a 4 pc acoustic band, lot's of harmonies, soft music as background for dinner. L shaped patio... Qsc K-Subs mostly acting as stands for k10's. 2 PRX's as monitors, StudioLive 16.4.2 as the board After dinner and some fund raising stuff, the acoustic closer who is a single but a real dynamo...
So ... I have 2 spaces, 2 separate systems. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to transmit the audio from my main setup outside to the little setup inside - mostly this would be for the announcing and fund raising stuff. Cooler yet would be to be able to go bi-directionally and send the acoustic chick opener out to the main system as well... I can do this by taping a couple of long mic cords to the deck but they have typo run through door ways... Ick. Doors slamming on 100 foot mic cables is not something I relish... Let alone on a 24x8 snake... No wireless would be really sweet for this kind of thing.
It's probably late at this point but anyone have any ideas ?
