MSC 2x12

Looks like Music Supply Center changed the name plate on the grill. It appears to be the same cab they used to sell as a Legion and Steelsound before that.
I have one and think it sounds great for the money, a good deal.

I got mine off Ebay, less money than ordering from Music Supply web page.

I was really mad a few months ago, they yanked them off their site. I have been eyeing them for quite some time. I just ordered one and will be throwing 300 watts at it. I'll let you know what I find out.

One weird thing, its not like Behring** brand, some like it some don't. All the reveiws I have seen have been good. I have not seen one bad review of this cabinet. This alone, really makes me skeptical. If I try it and like it, there will be another one on its way especially since my amp runs a 2 ohm load and they are ridiculously cheap.

I think they keep changing the name plate for the 2-12" to make a distinction between the Birch vs the MDF cabs. But, this is just a guess. I just got mine yesterday and I was so excited to unpack it. I plugged in my New Peavey head and rocked out for about an hour. That cab sounds soooo clean. I can Strum 2 different strings at the same time and both will sound clear and clean, not muddy as I am used to. Let me gig it out a few times and I'll put through a review.

Alright, I took my 2-12" out to gig with my nitrobass head. The cab has a TON of definition. I did also notice, while dreaming and drooling, this cabinet looks an awful lot like the Aguilar 2-12 cab right down to the 2-3" port holes. The covering on this thing is rat fur. I put it in my trunk and it went in no problem, taking it out was another story. After 20 mins of wriggling, I now have 2 spots across from each other where the carpet came off. 2 small wood spots, I think I might take a sharpie to it. The cab is definantly not 50 pounds as advertised. This cab is the SX bass of speaker cabs. I know this is a bold statement, but really. This cab is birch not MDF, it has really good lows, very fast and defined, as well as decent highs and no tweeter hiss that is prevalent on other cabs. The old saying is, you get what you pay for. NOT HERE! Whenever MSC gets more recognition, watch the price go up a couple hundred bucks. For value and sound,This beats Behringer, Crate, peavey, Fender, SWR, Ampeg 4-10's, Some GK's and comes close to that great definition of Eden cabs. Now, I never played some of the higher end stuff, but price to price and tone to tone, I would rather take the $1,000 you're gonna spend on one cab and buy a couple of these, plus a decent pre/power setup and laugh while you scrounge up another grand to complete your rig. REALLY, THIS IS THE CABINET DEAL OF THE CENTURY! $180 shipped for this, real hard to compete with.

my .02.
