Just got Neptoon's USA MTD J5. (Thanks again Dave)

This bass is 34" scale.
Dark cherry burst
Ash body
Ash neck
Maple fingerboard
Bart J pups (special winding)
Bart tct preamp w/active passive switch.
Black hardware
Also has Wenge' slap ramp.

I have owned other high end 5ers.
Rick Turner
Padulla
Fender
Lull

This bass is the best playing bass I've ever played.
I plays so eazy.
Smooth, fast, very responsive to left hand.

Tone, big, tight, focused.
Barks when you dig in.
This bass cuts, through the mix.

B-string is tight, blends well with other strings.
Don't ever notice this is 34" scale.
A very nice B-string.

The J5 is a different animal than the 535.
For Rock, Blues, this bass kicks ass.

This is my first MTD.
Mike is the man.

I see a 535 on my gas list?

Now I know why so many TBers own more than one MTD.

Will try to get camera, for pics.

...on the other hand i'm REALLY diggin' this yamaha attitude limited I i just picked up...ee gadz

Did it come with a Free Compressor or Seven to emulate Billy's sound? ;)

I keed because, frankly, I'm jealous. I'm openly and admittedly not a "P" player in any way, but the Attitude II Limited is one of the very few Precision-type basses I'd like to own. A nice "medium" neck, a Hipshot Bass Xtender, the neck "woofer", all wrapped up in metallic black and white pearloid. I suppose I could live with that.:)
