MTD Kingston K4 neck replacement?

So I did an impulse buy of a bass body with electronics thinking I would heavily modify it. Curiosity got the better of me so I began going down the rabbit hole to find out the origin story of this bass and I'm pretty sure this is an MTD Kingston k4 body. The swoopy pick guard screw holes makes me think it is. It didn't come with the pick guard. What do you guys think? And can I get an MTD neck for it or do I need to get something fabricated? I have found very little information about the necks for these if it truly is an MTD. After looking into the MTD basses and seeing how much love there is, I'm not sure I want to make this a Frankenbass anymore.

It’s an artist 4 body. You should be able to make a mtd neck bolt right in.

TBH swapping necks is rarely that simple. Even with current production models, usually there's a some finessing involved.

@ChaeChae I got your email, I'll get back to you as soon as we have a chance to look through the warehouse to see if we have anything that might fit.

I kinda assumed the op would know he’s probably going to be sanding some edges back in the neck pocket. Even a budget Ibanez gsr I rebuilt needed a bit of sanding and shim work to get it right.

Oh yes, I figured the neck would not be a direct plug and play situation, but always a good reminder! I was debating trying my hand at making a neck, but this is a better situation. Thanks DJ, I'll shoot you an email!
